Bunny care

All the bunnies at Cuddle Bunny are beloved family pets of the owner and her daughters. They have been frequently handled since a young age and thrive on human (and occasionally canine) interaction.

The greatest of care is taken to ensure their health and happiness in the least stressful environment possible. All are regularly examined by a veterinarian, certified to be free from E cuniculi, and spayed/neutered. They are weighed weekly and their health continually monitored.

Their diet consists of 75% Oxbow timothy hay, 10% fresh greens, 10% Manna Pro enriched pellets, and 5% treats including carrots, apples, bananas, strawberries, blueberries and an occasional biscuit. Their water bowl is sanitized and refreshed with filtered, room-temperature water twice daily.  Their litter is changed daily and a thorough sanitizing of their living space is performed weekly.  Litter boxes are lined with training pads and filled with Eco-straw pellets for absorption then covered with Timothy hay.

They spend every other day in the club area interacting with visitors and nights at Cuddle Bunny. Occasional road trips are taken to a grassy backyard where they are monitored while binkying about a double exercise pen, munching on fresh grass, dandelion greens, basil, and mint leaves.
